Mardi Gras begins a new contest for Pixie-Productions! We are welcoming Tatiana, our Frog Princess, this month. Tatiana is a princess that overcame hardship and followed her dreams. In her honor, we are going to give away a FREE Frog Princess party. Participants are to send in a short essay detailing their own family's hardships and why their daughter deserves to win a FREE Frog Princess party. We ask that participants ONLY enter if their child is a fan of the Frog Princess; we will run contests for other princesses in the future, so please! Save this one for those who would most enjoy it.
The prize, from here on referred to as a "Frog Princess Party" can be one of two things, depending on the winner's decision: choice number 1 is a one-hour party with our Frog Princess. This party includes face painting, party favors, and plenty of games. If contest winner would like to use the prize before the child's birthday, then there is choice number 2, which is our princess play-date package. This option is a 45 minute one-on-one meeting with the princess. It includes a gift, balloons, and a story. Travel fees will not apply to this contest--the prize is totally free, no matter your location!
This contest runs from March 8th 2011 to June 8th, 2011. Winners will be announced on June 15th, 2011. To enter your essay, please e-mail it to contactus@pixie-productions.com! What a month we have had! Every weekend has had at least one, if not more, parties, with a few events thrown in during the week. We met many new princesses, both at birthday parties and at our Princess Party at the Family Video in Mcalester! Cinderella, Belle, the Little Mermaid, and Snow White have been very hard at work!

Not only will we be hosting our bake sale benefit, but we have also been asked to bring some enchantment to a local school event. Rielle, Belle, and Cinderella will don their ballgowns to attend Ms. Helen's Fairy-Tale Fashion show! We are so excited to have been asked to participate.
Lastly, as we recieve more and more requests, we will soon be expanding our cast. Keep an eye out for introductions and words of welcome!

On Saturday, April 2nd (please note the date change!), we will be hosting a bake sale to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Oklahoma at the Broken Arrow Neinhaus community center! We've already had a few bakeries offer their resources, but we are open to more companies having a hand in this event. We are also considering creating a sort of mini-party with our bake sale---having face painters and balloon twisters on hand, but we will see how that part comes together!
But, there's something more immediate on our horizon! Saturday, February 12th in Mcalister, Oklahoma we will be hosting a pre-Valentine's day Princess party! Cinderella, the Little Mermaid, and Belle will host games, a costume contest, and paint faces! This event is free for all, and a great way to beat winter blues! We will also have the means to book parties on hand that day, so if you want to check us out and book then and there, we can get you scheduled! We are so excited for this event--who wouldn't want to hear "Happy Valentine's day!" from a fairy-tale princess?

We've had a lot of wonderful things happen, recently, which is why there have been so few updates. In short--we've been busy magic-makers!
First, we'd like to thank all of our friends who took advantage of our special offer. We are so happy that we could bring a little extra magic to your big day! We have several upcoming parties that will receive gourmet cupcakes or cookies, and we cannot wait to present these enchanting creations!
Second, a lot of new events have been created. First, on March 12 we will be hosting a bake sale! 3 of our princesses will be out in the Tulsa area, meeting and greeting new friends who have a sweet tooth! We will have volunteers there to help handle packaging and finances, but also to take any new bookings made that day. But best of all, all proceeds are going to benefit Prevent Child Abuse Oklahoma, which is Cinderella's favorite charity!
There's more! We are also planning an Easter Egg hunt for April 23rd--the Saturday before Easter Sunday! There, children will hunt eggs with special prizes inside. Some eggs will include candy, some with small trinkets, and some will include party package giveaways! We would love to receive feedback on what you would most like out of this experience! This event will most likely feature our princesses; however, we are considering TinkerBell and her friends as hosts. More information on both of these events to come!
And, as the best things come in 3s, we have another event. Rapunzel will be in MCalester, OK on March 29th (that's a Tuesday) for the release of Tangled! She will be at Family Video, where she will host a Meet&Greet for all her new friends! Best of all, our Rapunzel will be going in for a make-over before this event, so she will be in a brand new dress and hairstyle!
Now, for something more immediate: take a look at our site! We have added a few things--namely, 2 more Under $100 Value packages, such as a princess-style picnic and a big sister spell! But, that's not all. We are also collaborating with kiddie couture artist Leigha Marie! Leigha Marie creates lush tutus and tutu costumes for little princesses. For now, parents can order these small luxuries separately and have them mailed before the party or brought by the character, but we are also creating new party packages that include these custom-made tailored-to-specifications creations. Leigha Marie's talents, however, are not limited to tutus. For an entirely custom piece, parents can e-mail us and request original designs. Our characters don't wear factory made frocks, so why should your little girl? With Leigha Marie's help, your mini-princess can have an entirely unique party costume. We are so lucky to work with this fairy godmother!
Finally, we have more prizes in the works! Our first will be a give-away of one Frog Princess party. This contest will be more than just entering your name and will be aimed at families facing hardships. Our other prize will be a series of special discounts. We are looking for parents who are the trendsetters of the PTA--parents who host enviable parties and are hip on what's hep! More to come soon!

Wow, this has been such a great month! We've taken a few more bookings and jumped all over re-vamping some of our characters and finally getting new ones out. Sleeping Beauty and our Frog Princess (Tatiana) should make their debuts soon! While we wanted them to arrive sooner, we absolutely refuse to compromise our standards. We want to produce the best possible characters so, unfortunately, it's been taking some time!
Belle visited Winterfest recently, where we had a great photoshoot with our new camera! Belle met fans and enjoyed introducing herself to all the princes and princesses. She even met a few older fans who jumped at the chance to take pictures. It is such a joy to see someone light up at a surprise character visit!
January is looking to be a big month. Aside from private events, many of our characters will be participating in photoshoots, so that our website is better equipped to showcase the quality of our work. We hope to continue doing public shoots, and we will keep everyone updated about the "when and where" of all public appearances.
Finally, we'd like to wish everyone a happy new year. This will be a year of cheer and wonder, of that we are sure!
