So, as we get deeper and deeper into this rabbit hole, we're finding most of our news happens towards the middle of the week, so we'll be including Thursday updates. Which is wonderful, because yesterday was a very productive day for Pixie-Productions!

As I've noted before, we're hiring local talent to help us create our own music--something unique to perform at events. Well, we worked through a lot of the details yesterday, and the first song is almost completed. I say first because we'd eventually like to have special songs for each character, but right now we're going to test this out with one "theme" song. I'm really impressed with our composer. I asked him for something with a familiar feel, but unique. What he presented was truly special, and I cannot wait to share it with all of you! I'm really, really impressed and at some point I'll have to see if he'd be okay with me bragging more about his work, haha!

We've also introduced our Arabian Princess, Jessamine, into our line-up. Though her name IS Arabic, it is also a lovely night-blooming flower found in the West Indies. Our Jessamine wears a low ponytail, simple jeweled headband, and a forest green bedlah. There were a lot of difficulties when construction on this outfit began, but once the right pattern was located, it came together fast. Jessamine's associated charity is Work of Women, a non-profit dedicated to improving the lives of women throughout the world.

We're also adding something special to Facebook. Each week we will be featuring one of our characters, mostly to raise awareness of the associated charities (and maybe a little to brag on the costumes!).

That's pretty much a wrap! Come to the Stone Bluff Cellars Wine Festival this Saturday to see Fizzle and Candythorn! See you there this weekend or back here on Tuesday!
